Die Deutschen Klassiker 2013 Porsche Factory Tour - Friday 12th to Tuesday 16th July, 2013

1st Tickets are delighted to announce the details for the DDK Club's 2013 Porsche Factory Tour to Stuttgart, Germany: We have put together a four night, two centre self drive package staying in the Spa town of Baden-Baden and not far from the Porsche Factory in Stuttgart. The tour will take in some of the great driving roads of the Black Forest, including the Schwarzwaldhochstrasse to Freudenstad, the Old Solitude race track, an afternoon at the Porsche Museum and factory tours of Porsche Factory and the classic restoration workshop.

For our first two nights we will stay at the Abarin Hotel in Baden-Baden. Baden-Baden is a good sized town with a mix of bars and restaurants to relax in after the long drive from Rotterdam. It is also gives us a good starting point for the Saturday drive to Freudenstadt along the Schwarzwaldhochstrasse (L500). After lunch, we will head back to Baden-Baden via the Schwarzenbach Dam and Mehliskopf all weather bob run!

After checking out from our hotel on Sunday morning, we will head over to Stuttgart. Our route will take us through some winding roads of the Black Forest, the old Solitude race track (Early 1960’s Grand Prix) and a 2.5km long tunnel on the Motorway before arriving at the Porsche Museum for Lunch and an afternoon in the Museum.

The Golden Leaf Hotel at ZuffenHausen will be our base in Stuttgart, which is within striking distance of the Porsche factory and has a train station nearby for those that want to explore the city of Stuttgart. On Monday we have the classic restoration workshop and Porsche factory tours (please note there are a limited number of spaces for the tours).

Rather than cutting the tours short, we will stay a second night in Stuttgart and drive back to Rotterdam for the overnight ferry on Tuesday evening. For those that would like to get back to the UK sooner we have the option to return via Calais - Dover on late on Monday or Tuesday aftenoon.

As well as the long sea crossing via Hull - Rotterdam we have also included short sea sailings via Dover - Calais and Eurotunnel. Based on the room type available and crossing options, the table below details the price per person.
