How are your prices calculated?

To calculate our prices we take into account the likely Euro exchange rate for our payments to the circuit and other suppliers, our operating overheads, ACO Fees, Insurances, bank and merchant services charges.

When will I know if my ticket request will be met?

The circuit normally confirms our allocation for the Le Mans 24 Hour Race in late November. However, this date is subject to variation and is dependent on any changes made to the circuit and camping areas. As soon as our allocation is confirmed, we make our way through the event register provisionally allocating tickets to customer in date registered order.

We aim to inform all customers of their provisional allocation by the end of January. If for any reason we are not able to offer you your preferred campsite or grandstand, we will work with you to find a suitable alternative and place you on a wait list for your first choice.

When do I need to pay for my tickets?

In order to confirm your chosen arrangements, you must make full payment at the time of booking. In some circumstances, we will accept a deposit and stipulate a date for payment of the remaining balance. If we do not receive this balance in full and on time, we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled by you in which case cancellation charges will apply. For further information, please see our Booking Conditions (section 6 Changes and Cancellation by us).

When will I receive my tickets?

Tickets and crossing details are sent to you by Next day signed for Special Delivery (included in your package price) approximately two to three weeks before the event (subject to the delivery of tickets to us by the circuit).

When can I purchase tickets for next year’s events?

Each year, there is high demand for camping and grandstand tickets for the Le Mans 24 Hour Race. We operate a register of interest, which we open in June for the following year's event. By registering your interest you are under no obligation to purchase.

Why have Package prices increased so significantly for 2017?

Each year, before setting our prices and fixing the exchange rate with our foreign currency providers, we wait for confirmation from the ACO of prices and our allocation (late October). Following the results of the UK's EU Referendum and the decision to leave the European Union, the value of the pound against other currencies has fallen significantly (approx 20%) with a further major drop in October. This has meant that the exchange rate we have currently been able achieve with our foreign currency providers is significantly lower than 2016. We have set our prices at, what we believe is, a fair level based on our expected achievable exchange rate for the year and the ticket prices from the circuit.

Each year the face value of some of the Le Mans 24 Hours Tickets increase slightly. For 2017, grandstands T34 Stands and T04 Panorama have moved to a higher price band.

What will happen if the Euro Exchange rate falls even further?

Once you have your booking with us, we will aim to keep the price to you fixed. If a falling rate means that the total cost of your package increases we may make an additional charge. For further information, please see our Terms and Conditions (Section 3: The price of your arrangements).

What will happen if the Euro Exchange rate improves?

Although the Exchange rate is continually changing, we make payments at certain times and may not be able to take full advantage of improvements in the exchange rate. However, we calculate an average exchange rate based on all our purchases for an event and if the average rate is significantly greater than our expected exchange rate, we will pass on any savings (less any additional incurred costs) to you.

What are 1st Tickets doing to avoid further price increases?

We have reviewed our Euro payment strategy and utilise various mechanisms to hedge our Euro exposure, reducing the impact of exchange rate fluctuations.
